Goal Oriented Tasks

Goal Oriented Tasks (GOTs) are also called Department Performance Tasks (DPTs). The manufacturing plant has many departments that work on the product as can be done. These departments are called Operation departments.

In creating a product lean product it is essential to check the product quality, delay time, cast, and all processes of manufacturing.

Purpose

In a lean manufacturing system, tasking the department’s supervisor or manager helps achieve the company’s goal. these tasks play an important role in lean manufacturing processes. As continuous improvements, cast control, and developing a safe environment for the workers.

Scope/Importance

These tasks’ status show the performance and ability of the managers and supervision authority of the department.

Among these goals and performance tasks have been set targets for the managers of the department on a monthly and annual basis. The target achieving is essential for managers for promotion and increments.

Keep Performance Indicator (KPI)

KPI stands for Keep Performance Indicator. The keep performance indicator is a display of the real-time production progress of the plant. This will display the production status where we need to counter the production progress from time to time. KPI DASHBOARD is a very powerful and important tool for Lean Manufacturing and Lean Production Systems.

Keep Performance Indicator (KPI) indicates production, losses, downtime, achieved targets, and compression between time to time progress.

PDCA Faults Control Strategy

PDCA stands for Plan Do Check Act. Plan Do Check Act is a fault and loss control strategy used to increase production performance and work progress in the lean production system. Plan Do Check and Act methodology is conducted when faults and losses affect the department KPIs and overall plant KPIs.

PDCA fault finding and follow to control it with proper step-by-step procedure.
